The Binational visit to La Piedad, Michoacán, Mexico from February 20-23 (Thursday - Sunday). This is in collaboration with the City of Woodland and La UNIVA, the higher education component is designed to expose educational leaders to the cultural, economic, and the historical presentations of the State of Michoacán, Mexico.
Please confirm your participation no later than Friday, January 24th. The cost per person is $500 which includes lodging, food, beverage, transportation, and entertainment. You may invite an additional person (partner/spouse/friend). Please forward to other colleagues who may be interested in participating.
You will need to book your own flight. Volaris and AeroMexico have frequent flights into Guadalajara (GDL) that are extremely affordable. Please arrive as early as possible on Thursday morning, February 20th as we will be picked up at the airport roughly by 9am. The city of La Piedad is two hours from the Guadalajara airport.
The La UNIVA (which is the host university) will coordinate our lodging, meals, and all activities.
